
Ingrid A. Ross is a seasoned learning and development executive with more than 35 years of experience driving organizational effectiveness through strategic training, coaching, and workforce development initiatives. She has extensive expertise in training and development, coaching individuals at all levels of an organization, and implementing process improvement strategies that enhance performance, engagement, and overall organizational success. Her work reflects a sustained commitment to aligning education, workforce readiness, and career pathways—particularly for youth and young adults seeking meaningful, sustainable futures.
Ingrid holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a Master of Science in Organizational Leadership. Her professional background includes leading large-scale L&D and process improvement initiatives, as well as additional human resources experience in areas such as staffing and talent support. She is recognized for designing and delivering impactful programs that translate strategy into measurable outcomes through optimizing the skills, knowledge and abilities of diverse work audiences.
She is the Founder and President of U READY, LLC, a career development consultancy that prepares youth and young adults for life after high school through coaching, programming, and workshops. Her work focuses on equipping participants with practical skills and clear plans to pursue college, military service,
or careers aligned with their strengths.
She currently serves as Executive Director of Journeys Soaring Impact, where she leads initiatives to help prepare high school students for their best life with a career in welding and beyond. She has also served as a substitute teacher within Cincinnati Public Schools, using that platform to positively impact youth by creating inclusive, engaging learning environments that support student growth and development. Her leadership emphasizes student-centered learning and strong partnerships with educational institutions and industry stakeholders.
Outside of her professional work, Ingrid enjoys spending time with her family and values her roles as a mother and “GiGi.” She has a passion for remodeling, designing, and repurposing spaces, as well as engaging in arts and crafts and singing. She is also committed to community service through the “Blessing Bags” ministry, which she and her son began during the pandemic to support individuals experiencing homelessness.
