Our Ohio State Apprenticeship Council–approved Ironworking
Pre-Apprenticeship program is changing lives—and generations—
one student at a time.
To date, 16 students have completed our earn-while-you-learn program.

Beyond welding,
we prepare students for success in life.
Through our Life Skills curriculum, students build skills in budgeting, financial literacy, soft skills, and business acumen—while learning the value of networking and
community stewardship.
Mentors and formal events—including galas—build the confidence to thrive in any setting, down to knowing which fork to use.

Students commit to completing the program and leave with a clear, informed path forward—whether entering Ironworkers Local 44 as a first-year apprentice or pursuing another direction.
Both outcomes are a success!
Today, 94% of JSIP graduates are gainfully employed and/or in college, actively contributing to the communities in which they live.
